About Barbara . . .
I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, having moved here from the Washington, D.C., metro area three years ago. The peace and serenity the Valley affords are blessings I have waited many years to realize. My work history consists of several years in management as corporate officer and director, human resource director and corporate administrator. While my achievements were somewhat fulfilling, as the years passed it became apparent to me that something was still missing. As this awareness grew in my heart, I began the study of Metaphysics in search of eternal and universal truths. Through these studies and as a result of learned spiritual practices, I was able to see how these truths were changing my life and my goals then progressed toward service to my community. I wanted to teach others what I had learned about how each of us has the power to change our lives for the better. Still, I did not know how this service would manifest and sought the counsel of my own personal coach in an effort to set goals toward that end. My beloved coach, Mary, has worked with me through thick and thin, always encouraging me to stay on task and working toward my ultimate goal. She has taught me how to act on my desires and remain focused toward a successful and prosperous future. As we worked on my own personal goals, she taught me how to coach others in the same way. I am forever grateful to Mary for her love and guidance. In addition to the above corporate work, I am an Intuitive Massage Technician and have done intuitive counseling over the years. I guess it can be said that my coaching techniques are an amalgamation of several studies and practices throughout my life. It was only through my own personal coaching with Mary, that I was able to bring it all together and focus everything I have learned over the years into one logical and practical goal; Personal Life Skills Coaching. Being a personal coach is very gratifying and nothing beats the satisfaction of watching a client evolve into what they have always dreamed of being. Personal coaching works!
